Portrait of Melbourne by postaldude66 Portrait of Melbourne by postaldude66
I had to wait about 5 mins for a moment when no one was in the centre of the bridge, i played around with an overlay of a gradient that Steve showed me how to do today. This is about half of the Melbourne skyline.

taken Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Do check out Steve's pics from that day [link] - they are really something!

I really love this shot, in a way it shows the coldness and the warmth of the city in one picture. :) It would have been more interesting if there were clouds, but the absence of it only makes me look more to the city. Great job, David. :aww:

This is very nice. I think it could be a smidge better if it were rotated a bit, but I think this is gorgeous anyway. I love the old time feel to it. Very nice.

i think you are right.. i had enother look after you mentioned this.. but i probably wont bother (along with a border). No one looks at it nowadays anyway. Thanks though for the feedback - i have changed the version i have at home.

i love it! definatly a fav. really looks like a cold winter melbourne day with the colours, i also agree, a white border would look nice. to make it look just that bit more old-day esque.

Beautiful shot, I love the colors; I would recommend a border though, would make it look amazing.

A white border around all four edges and maybe a small black outline around it would look great, but it looks just as great without one. Your friend Steve has an absolutely mind blowing gallery, the photos are just amazing; not to take your thunder away lol.
